HIS
Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam arrived in
Bali on November 7, 2012, to attend the fifth Bali Democracy Forum
(BDFV).
His Majesty will attend the first day of the forum, which
will be officially opened by Indonesian President Dato Laila Utama Dr Hj
Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono with a statement, followed by remarks from
Co-Chairs of the BDFV, Korean President Lee Myung-bak, and Australian
Prime Minister Julia Gillard.
His Majesty has attended all five of
the BDF's, which was initiated in 2008 by Indonesia, as an annual,
inclusive, and open intergovernmental forum on the development of
democracy in the Asia-Pacific region
